The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity available for Administration Officer to join our Networks Division team in Eagle Farm, on a part time basis - 18 hours per week (days to be decided) until June 2022. Reporting to the Team Leader - Planning & Scheduling, you will play a key role in providing administration support to the Networks Business Unit through efficient dispatch of both planned and corrective maintenance, field services, capital works requests, service and site watch requests, including liaising with retailers, suppliers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support across Networks and Planning & Scheduling teams, with various administration tasks; including working closely with Capital Works; work order creation, updating details and notes in work orders, identifying gas fitter and plumber licence details, as well as providing support as requested
  • Running Maximo queries and actioning as required, including manage leak repairs in line with the company’s Leak Management Plan
  • Scheduling and dispatching of Capital Work and B2B related work orders accurately and efficiently to internal and external field technicians, in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Making and receiving inbound calls from customers and member of the public, in relation to a wide range of team activities
  • Applying for footpath permits including obtaining all supporting documents; DIALS, Google Maps, arranging traffic control and contacting customers to secure appointment date and time
  • Supporting Admin team with Site Watch requests; liaising with 3rd parties, securing appointments for gas spotters, quality checking documents and distributing confirmations and required documents to confirm bookings

About You

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Word, Access & Excel
  • Experience operating in a high transactional environment
  • Excellent team working skills, with the ability to operate flexibly across different roles at short notice
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to listen and interpret and source further information to effectively complete tasks
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
