Purchasing & Administration Assistant

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Purchasing Administration Assistant to join a well established family business.

The role is a hands on Purchasing Support role to the Purchasing Manager. You will be working in a fast paced pressured environment within a team structure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Purchasing Manager
  • Communication with other team members regarding dispatch dates
  • Organising/booking freight
  • Purchasing - Raising orders/Stock levels
  • Reporting and filing
  • Liaising with suppliers and warehouse staff

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in an administrative role (desirable)
  • The ability to communicate effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Competent computer skills (MAC desirable)
