Project Coordinator

Pacific Controls have been providing solutions to process control industries for over 30 years with operations in Queensland, New South Wales, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia.  

We are currently looking to continue our ongoing growth, with the addition of Project Coordinator to cover the entire portfolio of our product range of valves and instrumentation. The position will be based in our Brisbane office. 

Some of the key responsibilities of role include:

  • Effective planning, control and execution of projects and contracts management
  • Coordinate with clients to provide specific project management services to support the identified and agreed customer needs
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal engineers for all of vendor data requirements
  • Overall responsibility for the control and flow of all documentation and the preparation of data dossiers and MDRs for customers
  • Participate in the specification, sourcing and negotiations of sub orders for projects
  • Attend customer meetings and kick off meetings for projects and contract review
  • Conduct project milestone reviews and reporting the status to customers
  • Liase and coordinate with sales, service, quality and finance departments
  • Work with Sales team on Contracts Management with customers and annual reviews
  • Generate Product performance reports with monthly statistics and KPI’s as required

The successful candidate will ideally have 1 – 3 years' experience in a similar documentation / project administration role, preferably working in the engineered products industry, preferably with valves and valve automation.  

Candidates will ideally have the following qualities;

  • Ability to pick up technical information quickly 
  • Proven record of dealing with key stakeholders, internal and external 
  • Proven record of project reporting 
  • Strong computer skills and experience with the complete Microsoft Office suite and various document portals
  • Display high proficiency in coordinating multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • exceptional time management & organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proactive, diligent & hardworking nature.
