Customer Service Admin Support

We are currently seeking a motivated team member to assist our well established Customer Service team in Admin Support located in Riverwood.  You will be part of an energetic team with a customer geared culture that is part of a global premium brand that invests time and resources in its people.  This is a contract position but there in an opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager your primary responsibilities will be:

  • To perform all customer service activities to ensure our customers receive products by delivery dates.
  • Support the Customer Service team in quoting.
  • Assist the Customer Service team with calls.
  • Co-ordinate pick-ups and deliveries appropriate to customer needs.
  • Assist the team to ensure customers are kept fully informed at all times with accurate and relevant information regarding orders and deliveries.
  • Follow DoA (Delegation of Authority) guidelines to ensure relevant approvals.
  • Ensure that all opportunities for improvements are complete and followed up for internal and external customer complaints.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for all customer service tasks.
  • Check outstanding back orders and ensure customers are advised of any change or delays.
  • Ensure sales orders, EDI orders and online orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate and manage international orders.
  • Ensure credits and returns are processed in a timely manner.
  • Backup support for all hire machines and ensure that hire contracts are followed up and billed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Product Training Sessions.
  • Administrative tasks as required.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM (preferred but not essential).
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Flexible and team focused.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and stay focussed during busy times.
  • Be honest, reliable and committed.
  • Presentable with strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
