Customer Service Officer

We are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual for the position of Customer Service Officer within our Automotive Division. The position will be based at our Head Office located Salisbury south of Brisbane.

The role will focus on a wide variety of duties and skills including:

  • Process, update and track customer orders from input through to delivery;
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with EGR sales and operations staff and external customers;
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction;
  • Advise customers and sales staff in regards to stock levels and status of orders for marketing support material and products;
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for the management team;
  • Respond to customer queries via phone or email;
  • Ad-hoc assistance of the wider EGR team, as directed by management.

This role will liaise with key staff in other departments to ensure our customers' orders and expectations are met.

The successful applicant will possess the following;

  • Previous experience with CRM systems, HubSpot software is highly desirable;
  • Experience using QAD will be highly regarded, but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided;
  • Be a service-oriented professional with a minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service or internal sales role;
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times;
  • Be a motivated, responsible team player with the ability to problem solve and show initiative;
  • Strong  attention to detail and ability to adhere to team directives to ensure department success;
  • Capability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • Intermediate ability in Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
