The Role

An exciting maternity leave contract (12m) marketing opportunity has become available to support the business Marketing activities. You will help drive sales outcomes through effective management of the external brand & communications through social, digital, PR, advertising and influencer marketing activity.

Day to Day

As a marketing professional you will have a diverse range of general marketing skills, but a key focus on brand development, communications and PR activity:

  • Lead the marketing function to ensure all content and external marketing communication material is released to business and brand guidelines.
  • Control brand guidelines and ensure all products are launched as per guidelines.
  • Drive online and ecommerce marketing initiatives.
  • Manage all advertising and paid media initiatives (including media agencies.)
  • Manage all media and public relation activities (including editors, stylists and broadcasters.)
  • Leverage media relationships and chase down publication and commentary opportunities.
  • Lead brand development communications through own collateral, as well as various media platforms.
  • Produce and utilise reports / data for the marketing and sales teams.

Skills needed.

  • Able to structure and coordinate the activity of the Marketing function.
  • Experience in an online selling and ecommerce environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across other departments (marketing, sales, operations etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work to and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, agile environment.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing based locally, you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to work to outcomes will be key to success with this organisation.
