Events Coordinator

Precedent Productions, founders of the Local Business Awards and other events, seeks a creative and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a newly created position as the business is experiencing a high rate of growth.

As an Events Coordinator you will: 

  • Work within a team to prepare for a series of events,
  • Attend and coordinate some of the Local Business Awards events,
  • Coordinate electronic promotional newsletters,
  • Prepare printed material for the Local Business Awards,
  • Respond to inbound and outbound telephone and email enquiries,
  • Liaise with the Local Business Awards venues regarding requirements,
  • General administration duties.

There is scope for this role to develop further.
 

Skills required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook,
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign is highly advantageous but not essential,
  • Experience in MailChimp is highly advantageous but not essential,
  • Exposure to social media marketing.

  • Eager to contribute new ideas,
  • Positive attitude and great organisational skills,
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
     

Candidates must show proof of Covid vaccinations and possess a current NSW Driver’s License and reliable vehicle as you will be required to attend some events outside of work hours.
