This role requires an excellent salesperson who loves engaging with people and the ability to show great empathy and understanding of our customer’s needs.  While the primary role is to secure a close, our business relies on trust and building a relationship where you can connect to the customer. An exciting opportunity has opened for a Assistant Store Manager at our Eltham site. The successful applicant will work with the team in all aspects of the running the store to grow and develop the business. Our employees believe in longevity of employment and some have been with us for 15 years +.

What experience is essential for you to bring to Fort Knox Self Storage:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Management in retail or office environment.
  • Experience in working towards KPI’s and Budgets
  • Customer Service Experience, face to face and over the phone sales following Sales Map (Steps of Selling)
  • Customer Account Management / Debt Collection
  • Previous experience in coaching & developing team members
  • Ability to work unassisted
  • Compliance to coach & follow company policies & procedures
  • High standards in self presentation & site presentation
  • Ability to take direction, have initiative & a strong work ethic
  • Rostering experience
  • Administration & Reporting skills
  • Computer Skills Essential
  • Current Driver’s License & car Essential
